The scorching, dry air hangs in a ringing silence. Rare plants have wilted to the ground, scorched mercilessly by the unforgiving sun. Most animals have already migrated to more humid regions, leaving only the most resilient behind, waiting for rain. There aren't many of them here, but if you try, there's a chance to encounter a protoceratops, velociraptor, or even the king of dinosaurs - tyrannosaurus rex.
